Biography/CV

On graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (Cardiff) BA (Hons) Degree course in 2009, Clare was cast in the leading role of Pegeen Mike in Druid Theatre Company's acclaimed production of Playboy of the Western World directed by Garry Hynes for a national UK and Irish tour.

Since then she wrote, directed and starred in her own show called 'Living With Missy' and has starred in Chekhov's Three Sisters directed by Sean Holmes and Filter which played in The Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith and went on a National UK Tour. She also returned to The Lyric and Filter team last year to do Midsummer Nights Dream at Latitude Festival where she played Helena.

She then returned to Druid to do The Silver Tassie, and straight after that a US and Irish Tour of The Cripple of Inishmaan in which she played the role of Slippy Helen. 

Clare was then in the revival of The Silver Tassie in New York's Lincoln Centre.

She is currently performing in The National Theatre London and The Abbey's co-production of Juno and the Paycock in which she is playing Mary Boyle.
